Preparation and Submission of Abstracts

Abstracts can now only be submitted as poster contributions using the one-page abstract template (rtf) found here:

Abstract template

Abstracts are submitted by sending the template to the email address: abstract@euchem2008.dk.

The text of the email should additionally include the following supplementary information:

  • Suggested session allocation (see below)
  • Position of presenting author with indication of  status as young scientist (up to 35 years) if relevant

Notice that the Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept and possibly re-assign contributions to a different session.

    Sessions

The meeting will consider molten salts and ionic liquids under the joint headline of Coulombic fluids. Thus no sessions will be established in terms of the individual concepts. Instead contributions are divided into the following eight topical sessions:

    1. Modelling and Computational Studies
    2.
     Structure, Spectroscopy and Thermodynamics
    3.
     New Materials and Compounds
    4.
     Syntheses and Catalysis
    5.
     Separation and Transport Processes
    6.
     Electrochemical and Nuclear Applications
    7.
     Sustainable and Environmental Technologies
    8.
     Industrial and Future Applications

    Publication of Papers

Selected contributions will after the conference be considered for publication (upon peer-review) in a special issue of Journal of Molecular Liquids.

    More details will appear later.
